AI travel searching, a conceptual project exploring how a voice-powered AI can redefine the travel discovery experience. To focus the project on the user, the Design Thinking methodology was used. This allowed for empathizing with traveler frustrations, defining the core problem, and generating an innovative solution: a search that understands the user's 'vibe,' not just a destination.
Ideate
In this phase, the focus was on creating a clear and logical user flow. The architecture was designed for two main paths: the traditional search for those who know their destination, and the new AI discovery flow for those looking for inspiration.
UI Components
A simple and coherent design system was created. The dark mode color palette with vibrant gradients aims to evoke a modern and technological atmosphere. The typography and minimalist icons ensure a clean and user-friendly experience.
Technologies Used
Frontend: React with TypeScript for type safety and better development experience.
Backend: Node.js with Express framework and MongoDB for data storage.
Payments: Stripe integration for secure payment processing.
Design Highlights
Performance Optimization: Implemented lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies to ensure fast page load times.
